Collaborate With Us

At Pedal Players, our mission is to provide genuine, unbiased content and opinions about guitar effects pedals. To help you understand our process and how we can collaborate effectively, we’ve answered some common questions from manufacturers and brands:
Do you accept payment or products in exchange for reviews or features?
No, we do not accept money or products solely in exchange for a feature on our site. Our content is driven by a passion for exploring what pedals can do, not by payment.
Will you review my pedal?
We don’t do traditional reviews. Instead, we focus on showcasing what your pedal can do, exploring its unique sounds, settings, and potential within different playing styles. If your pedal fits organically with our content, we’d love to feature it in a way that highlights its capabilities rather than simply reviewing it.
Can I send you gear to showcase its potential?
Yes, if you're a manufacturer or distributor and want to send us gear, we’re open to it. We will evaluate if it fits our content organically. However, this does not guarantee a feature on the site, as our focus is on demonstrating what gear can achieve rather than traditional reviews.
Will you return my gear after you're done with it?
We’re always happy to return items or forward them as needed, at the supplier's expense. If a manufacturer doesn’t want to collect their gear, we either save it for future articles, donate it to local schools for educational purposes, or give it away in competitions (with the manufacturer’s permission).

We never sell products sent to us by manufacturers.
How do you build relationships with brands?
We value connections over transactions. Our goal is to connect with brands of all sizes, especially smaller and lesser-known pedal builders. Reach out to us not just to showcase your gear, but to say hi and build a lasting relationship within the industry.
Do you buy gear for your showcases?
Yes, most of our personal gear is purchased by us, often at full price. We’ve been fortunate to receive some discounts, but we never request them. We’re committed to paying for gear ourselves when we want or need it.

That said, we do this on our terms, please don't message us with sales pitches.
Who is your audience?
Our community of pedal players trusts our content because they know we prioritize honesty and transparency. Collaborating with us means your gear is showcased to a dedicated audience that values genuine, creative exploration over traditional reviews.
How do I know you won't give my product a bad review?
We don’t do traditional reviews; instead, we focus on showcasing what gear can do. We believe there’s no bad gear, just gear that fits different tastes and preferences. We will share our honest experiences within the realm of our own playing style and use case, highlighting the potential of each piece of gear.
What happens if my product isn't featured?
If your product isn’t featured, it doesn't mean it's not good. Our content is driven by what fits organically with our current projects and interests. We might save it for future articles or features. Rest assured, we appreciate every piece of gear we receive and aim to explore its potential fully.
How do I know you won't give my product a bad review?
We believe there’s no bad gear, just gear that fits different tastes and preferences – what works for one player might not work for another. We will never criticize any brand’s pedal or gear harshly. We will, however, give our honest opinions within the realm of our own playing style and use case.
